Dermatology
Skin issues are one of the most common problems for dogs and cats and can present in many different ways. Hair loss, scratching, rubbing, changes in skin color and texture, growths, and scooting the rear are just a few of symptoms of a possible skin issue. If you notice your pet exhibiting some of these symptoms, they may have a dermatological disorder. Ears and anal glands are extensions of the skin and are also common problems for our dogs and cats. Our veterinarians will assess your pet and determine if any diagnostic testing is needed. We can perform diagnostics such as skin scrapings, ear and skin cytology, bacterial/fungal culture, serum allergy testing, and biopsies.
