- Preventive at-home dental care instruction
- Comprehensive oral health assessment and treatment (COHAT): A veterinary dental procedure that involves a thorough examination of a pet’s oral health, followed by any necessary treatments, such as cleaning, extractions, or surgery. The goal of a COHAT is to prevent and treat dental problems in pets and maintain their overall oral health. The COHAT includes anesthetized full mouth dental x-ray; professional cleaning, polish, fluoride treatment; extractions of damaged or unhealthy teeth; gingival therapies and oral mass removals, and long-acting antibiotic treatments and pain management.
